  • Combine Multiple Observables Using combineLatest In Angular App
    • In this article, I am going to show you the benefits of using the combineLatest operator in an Angular application.
    • combineLatest operator, HTTP requests, multiple HTTP requests, independent HTTP requests, sequential HTTP requests
  • Using “ng-bootstrap” Components In Angular 5 App
    • In our last article, we learned “how to install and setup ng-bootstrap in our angular 5 app?” In this article, we are going to cover a couple of bootstrap components provided by “ng-bootstrap” module in our angular 5 app.
    • ng-bootstrap module, Angular app, progress bar, modal popup, default bootstrap values
  • Secure a Spring Boot REST API With JSON Web Token + Reference to Angular Integration
    • In this tutorial, I am going to walk you through how to secure a Spring Boot REST API with JSON Web Token (JWT) to exchange claims between a server and a client. This is Part 2 of a collaborative…

    • Now, Angular provides a new feature to call multiple HTTP requests by combining them -combineLatest operator.
    • This operator is best used when we have multiple independent HTTP requests.
    • We can make multiple sequential HTTP requests by combining them using thecombineLatest operator.
    • In the above code snippet, I have created three independent HTTP requests to get the master data from different data sources.
    • Since I have subscribed three observables and, of course, I am expecting three responses (in the above code snippets,masterData1, masterData2, and masterData3 are three responses) and in the success block I am assigning responses to the class properties (this.masterDataList1, this.masterDataList1 and this.masterDataList1).

    • In this article, we are going to cover a couple of bootstrap components provided by ng-bootstrap module in our Angular 5 apps.
    • In order to implement these components, we will have to configure NgbModule in our app module, i.e., app.module.ts file as we have seen in our last article and then we will able to use all ng-bootstrap components in our Angular app.
    • In order to implement bootstrap progress bars, we will have to use ngb-progressbar provided by ng-bootstrap module, like below – – ngb-progressbar Its a directive which is used to display a bootstrap progress bar in our Angular app.
    • In order to implement bootstrap rating widget, we will have to use ngb-rating provided by ng-bootstrap module, like below – – ngb-rating Its a directive which is used to show some rating based functionality for any Angular app provided by ng-bootstrap module.
    • In order to implement bootstrap modal popup, we will have to use NgbModal service and ng-template provided by ng-bootstrap module, like below.
