  • The Angular team at Google has made a few significant changes to the framework in the past year.
  • The major change that we experienced the past year was a complete revamp in Angular 2 from the first version.
  • The Facebook team made a few significant changes in the JavaScript library and they are worth noting for your growing repository: – – This states that the year was quite successful for React indeed.
  • This is going to be a drastic change in the core algorithms of React just like Angular did while releasing its second version.

  • I was using Angular and I wanted to build something lighter, so I started to experiment in the early stages – I think for about 6 months.I was becoming pretty bored and decided to turn Vue into a proper open source project.
  • Today people consider Vue an equal choice as to Angular and React.
  • But Angular, React and Vue each have a group of users that are naturally attracted to the solution because it sits well with their mental model.React kind of attracts a lot of functional oriented programmers.
  • Vue was able to fill a market gap between React and Angular and that’s why we were able to grow to where we are today. How would you counter critics that say there’s no big company behind Vue?
  • “You can look at the track records and see how we handled breaking change in the past: we don’t want to break our user’s code”- Evan YouTo be honest there are so many companies, and I think around 300.000 developers using Vue in the world today.

  • You’ll see how easy it is to create relational database models for our content with Cosmic and also how quick we can get from scratch to deployment.
  • Copy and rename the file in the root folder to and fill in the bucket configuration variables – which you can obtain from the Settings → Basic Settings tab in your cosmic dashboard.
  • (you can skip write_key if you want as we are not writing anything yet to our cosmic js backend from the app) – – Once this is done, you can start the app in development mode with ,and you will be able to access it at by default, or at…
  • The   folder contains the vue-router configurations and folder contains a cosmic bucket initialization file, which we can import and use in components – – Since Cosmic JS does the heavylifting in the backend side and there is no database to configure, deployment is a walk in the park.
  • By taking away the heavy-lifting in the backend, Cosmic essentially speeds up the process and reduces hassle in building content driven websites and apps.

  • One for the data which is the number of downloads and the labels which are for example the days, weeks, years.props: { chartData: { type: Array, required: false }, chartLabels: { type: Array, required: true }},As we want all our charts to look the same, we define some of the…
  • Later in Part II we can then add some date input fields so the user can set a date range. So our data models are looking like this:data () { return { package: null, packageName: ‘’, period: ‘last-month’, loaded: false, downloads: [], labels: [], showError: false, errorMessage: ‘Please enter a package…
  • enter=”requestData” placeholder=”npm package name” type=”search” name=”search” v-model=”package” button class=”Search__button” class=”error-message” v-if=”showError” {{ errorMessage }}/divh1 class=”title” v-if=”loaded”{{ packageName }}/h1line-chart v-if=”loaded” :chart-data=”downloads” ignore the css classes for now.
  • The one is, someone try to search for a package without entering any name or he’s entering a name that does not exist. For the first case, we have our default errorMessage, for the second case we will grab the error message that comes from the request. So our full template will…
  • catch(err = { this.errorMessage = err.response.data.error this.showError = true })}Now if we enter a package name, like vue and hit enter, the request is made, the data mapped and the chart rendered!
